Position Summary
Cobblestone Farms is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Garden Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our garden, helping us cultivate a bountiful harvest for our community programs and distribution efforts.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with planting, seeding, weeding, and overall garden maintenance.

Help prepare beds, till soil, and implement sustainable growing practices.

Water plants according to their needs and maintain irrigation systems.

Assist with harvesting a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

Help keep the gardens clean, organized, and free of debris.

Maintain garden tools and equipment.

Work with the Farm Director, Farm Manager and seasonal labor for cohesive operations.

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

No prior experience necessary, but a strong interest in gardening and sustainable agriculture is a plus.

Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Physically fit and able to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking long distances.

A willingness to learn and a positive attitude.

Team player with excellent communication skills.
Schedule:
Due to the nature of this position, the schedule will fluctuate based on season.
