1. Thai Basil Garden Salad
Ingredients: Summer Crisp Lettuce (Fusion), Heirloom Tomatoes (GinFiz/Dr. Wyche's Yellow), Cucumbers (Gateway), Thai Basil (Queen Thai Siam)
Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
Slice tomatoes and cucumbers.
Tear fresh Thai basil leaves over the salad.
Drizzle with olive oil, rice vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
Toss gently and serve immediately.
2. Cucumber & Carrot Thai Slaw
Ingredients: Cucumbers (Gateway), Carrots (Dragon), Red Onion (Cabernet), Thai Basil (Queen Thai Siam)
Julienne the cucumbers and carrots.
Thinly slice the red onion.
Toss with chopped Thai basil.
Dress with lime juice, olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper.
Chill for 15 minutes before serving.
3. Garlic Roasted Heirloom Tomatoes
Ingredients: Heirloom Tomatoes (GinFiz/Dr. Wyche's Yellow), Garlic (Music), Thai Basil
Slice tomatoes into thick wedges.
Place on a baking sheet with minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Roast at 400°F for 15–20 minutes.
Sprinkle with chopped Thai basil before serving.
Delicious over toast, pasta, or grilled meats.
4. Warm Garlic Carrots with Thai Basil
Ingredients: Carrots (Dragon), Garlic (Music), Thai Basil (Queen Thai Siam)
Slice carrots into thin rounds.
Sauté in olive oil until just tender.
Add minced garlic and cook for one minute.
Remove from heat and stir in chopped Thai basil.
Finish with a squeeze of fresh lime.
5. Heirloom Tomato Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients: Summer Crisp Lettuce (Fusion), Heirloom Tomatoes (GinFiz/Dr. Wyche's Yellow), Red Onion (Cabernet), Garlic (Music)
Separate large lettuce leaves.
Dice tomatoes and finely chop red onion.
Mix with a little minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the mixture into lettuce leaves.
Serve as fresh, crunchy wraps or appetizers.
